Hiking in the spring here in Maine, I see wildflowers like no other place on earth. I was inspired by the early Johnny Jump Ups, so crafted them as 3D dimensional glass elements to pair with this folksy hiking boot. This piece never fails to warm my spirit with good, wholesome energy.
The boot is made with amber English muffle, a classic textured glass that has been around a long, long time. The 3D Johnny Jump Up flowers are my original design and made with water glass that glow bright in the sun.
Made using the Tiffany-fashion with copper foil and lead.
Materials: Stained glass, lead solder, lead came and wire.
Measurements: Approximately 6 inches x 11 inches
