Stained Glass Patchwork Teardrop Butterfly

Growing up, I received a lot of blankets in vivid 70's and 80's fabrics like corduroy, chenille and satin. I took the warmth and bold styles of those blankets and put them into this pattern to make a lovely patchwork butterfly.

I made this piece in the Tiffany style of stained glass art with a variety of textured transparent and opaque stained glass including mottled blue, purple, yellow, light green and red.

Materials: Stained glass, lead solder, lead frame, hooks and wire for hanging.

Measurements: Approximately 6 x 9 inches

This piece will be wrapped in colorful tissue paper, packaged in environmentally-friendly, plastic-free cushion wrap, and shipped in a recycled cardboard box.
