Queen Honey Bee Stained Glass Suncatcher

Honey bees and pollinators make our world go round. Celebrate our bee artists with this hand painted queen bee flying near her multicolored and textured, stained glass hive. Each hexagon is cut and ground to be as exact as her worker bees would do themselves. A unique tribute to the insect that is as beautiful as she is industrious.

One of my original, handcrafted designs, hand cut and completed in my glass studio. Glass is a unique material in that these elegant colors will stay rich forever in the sun. Crafted in Tiffany-style with copper foil, solder, and patina.

Materials: Stained glass, lead solder, copper foil, copper patina, and copper wire. Sturdy hooks installed on the back for hanging.
